Storytelling: 3055 represents Jean Leon’s license number when he worked as a New York City cab driver, one of his first jobs. It reveals the man behind the legend and the humble origins of an idealist who achieved his dream of opening the most famous restaurant in Hollywood and creating his own namesake wine.
Tasting note: Brilliant, clean, pale yellow color. An intense nose full of fresh and ripe tropical fruit, with pineapple being especially prominent. Bright acidity brings freshness to the palate, which is long and persistent.
Serving suggestion: Combines beautifully with seafood, octopus and cuttlefish. Goes well with oil-rich fish and grilled sole or hake. Serve at 7–9ºC.
