Description:Located in the southern Côte de Beaune, the village of Chassagne became Chassagne-Montrachet in the 19th century, thus benefitting from the fame of the legendary Grand Cru it shares with Puligny. The vineyards face east–southeast and are planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which produces some of the finest white wines in the world. The Chassagne-Montrachet white has an intense nose and remarkable length.

Tasting note: The nose offers intense floral and fruit aromas. A very full-bodied, luscious, smooth wine with great persistence on the finish. Good aging potential.
Serving suggestion: Starters, fish and white meat in cream sauce.
Aging potential: 5 years or more
Aging: 8–10 months in French oak barrels, up to 10% new, depending on the vintage, and 2–3 months in stainless steel vats.
Bottle aging: The wines enjoy ideal conditions in the cellars of the bastions at the old Château de Beaune.
