Description: The star among Mâcon’s appellations of origin lies at the foot of the Solutré and Vergisson rock formations, which rise into the sky like the prows of two towering ships. Pouilly-Fuissé (not to be confused with Pouilly Fumé, a wine from the Loire Valley) has risen to international fame. Connoisseurs love its elegance and silky, cheerful texture.

Tasting note: Refined fruit and floral nose with a delicate toasty note. The wine is exceptionally delicate, which it reveals with elegance and finesse. Good aging potential.
Serving suggestion: Fish and seafood in sauce.
Aging potential: 5–7 years or more
Harvest: Hand harvest in small 13 kg boxes. Every grape is carefully hand sorted.
Aging: 9–10 months in French oak with up to 15% new barrels, depending on the vintage, and 3–4 months in stainless steel vats.
Bottle aging: The cellars in the bastions of the old Château de Beaune provide naturally ideal conditions for aging Premiers Crus.
