Tasting note: Subtle fruit and floral nose with toasty notes. Full bodied, but elegant, no heaviness whatsoever, with the characteristic liveliness of Les Genevrières. A voluptuous wine. Ageworthy.
Serving suggestion: Fish in sauce, foie gras. Serve at 12–14°C
Aging potential: 5–7 years or more
Harvest: Hand harvest in small 13 kg boxes. Every grape is carefully hand sorted.
Aging: 9–10 months in French oak with up to 15% new barrels, depending on the vintage, and 3–4 months in stainless steel vats.
Bottle aging: The cellars in the bastions of the old Château de Beaune provide naturally ideal conditions for aging Premiers Crus.
